TD4 porte TD4-01 (Special Handling Code, 'F' = fragile, 'P' = perishable, 'R' = refrigerated, 'HM' = hazardous material), TD4-02 (Hazardous Material Code Qualifier, 'UN' = UN hazmat code), TD4-03 (Hazardous Material Code, ex. UN1090 acetone), TD4-04 (Hazardous Material Description). Indispensable pour les envois sous régime ADR/RID/IMDG.
