ISO 20022 CBDC workstream : (1) Existing ISO 20022 messages adapted : pain.001 (customer credit transfer) extended pour user CBDC instruction, pacs.008 (FI to FI customer credit transfer) for commercial bank CBDC settlement, pacs.009 (FI to FI customer direct debit) for CBDC redemption. (2) New CBDC-specific messages discussed at ISO 20022 RMG : caep.CBDC.Issue (Central Bank Issuance), caep.CBDC.Distr (Distribution), caep.CBDC.Set (Settlement Cross-border), caep.CBDC.Redemption. Working Group ISO TC68/SC9/WG2 + ECB + BIS + CPMI joint contributions. Roadmap : public discussions 2024-2025, standard candidates 2025-2026, ISO 20022 stable adoption 2027+. Integration SWIFT MyStandards repository pour publishing CBDC profiles per central bank (ECB Eurosystem, Bank of England, Federal Reserve specific profiles emerge). Reference framework also FX4Cash, ISO 24165 DTI Digital Token Identifier integration pour CBDC token identification.
