Définition

MedDRA v27.0 (mars 2024) compte ~85000 termes structurés en 5 niveaux : SOC (System Organ Class) → HLGT → HLT → PT (Preferred Term) → LLT (Lowest Level Term). MSSO (MedDRA Maintenance Service Organization) gère release semestrielle. Adopté par FDA, EMA, PMDA, NMPA, ANVISA. Conditions de licence MSSO.

MedDRA v1.0 publie 1994 ; gestion ICH/MSSO depuis 1999 (Northrop Grumman).
