Reforme fee market Ethereum Base Fee brule.

Définition

EIP-1559 mecanisme : Base Fee (calculee selon utilisation bloc precedent, target 50% capacity, augmente 12.5% bloc full ou diminue 12.5% bloc empty), Priority Fee (tip a validator, optional). Base Fee est integralement brulee (burned) reduisant ETH supply en circulation. Effets observes : depuis activation, ~4.4M ETH brules (~$15 milliards a $3500/ETH), reduction inflation Ethereum vers deflation (avec PoS post-Merge). Adoption par L2s : Optimism, Arbitrum One, Polygon zkEVM, Base.

EIP-1559 publie par Vitalik Buterin, Eric Conner et al. avril 2019 ; debate communautaire 2 ans ; activation London hard fork 5 aout 2021 (block #12965000).

Exemple en contexte

Un utilisateur envoie une transfer ETH simple : Base Fee 25 gwei (~$5 a current prix), Priority Fee 1 gwei (~$0.2 tip validator), Base Fee 25 gwei est burned (removed from supply).
