SeqTp
ISO 20022 element of PmtTpInf in pain.008, decisive for SEPA direct debits.
Definition
SeqTp sits under PmtInf/PmtTpInf and takes one of four SequenceType1Code values: FRST (first of a recurrent series), RCUR (intermediate recurrent), FNAL (last of the series) or OOFF (one-off collection). An inconsistent sequence, such as a FRST after a RCUR has already been collected, triggers a reject (R-transaction) on the debtor-bank side.
Origin
ISO 20022 SequenceType1Code used by pain.008 and pacs.003, defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report and External Code Sets of the Registration Management Group; SEPA usage set by the EPC SDD Rulebook.
