Definition

Galileo was founded in 1971 by United Airlines ; introduced for agencies in 1987. Migrated to Travelport+ ; some agents keep the character Galileo Desktop screen for productivity. Still used via Galileo Web Services SOAP.

Origin

Acquired by Covia, merged with Apollo in 1993, integrated into Travelport in 2007.
