CommonWell Health Alliance services: (1) CommonWell Person Enrollment (universal patient identification across EHRs, assigns CommonWell ID linking patient across multiple EHRs without disclosing PHI). (2) CommonWell Record Locator Service RLS (returns list of EHRs where patient has records). (3) CommonWell Patient Linking (cross-EHR patient matching via demographics). (4) CommonWell Document Query + Retrieve (XCA-based, retrieves CCD/CCDA documents from source EHR). (5) CommonWell Direct Trust messaging (Direct secure messaging integration). (6) CommonWell-Carequality Connection (bidirectional bridge interoperability between two largest US interoperability frameworks, since 2016). Membership 2024: ~30+ EHR vendor members + ~30000+ provider sites + 175M+ patients enrolled cumulatively. Notable members 2024: Cerner (Oracle Cerner), Allscripts, Athenahealth, Greenway, Meditech, NextGen, eClinicalWorks. Epic NOT CommonWell member (Epic via Care Everywhere + Carequality), but Epic-CommonWell document exchange enabled via Carequality Connection bridge. CommonWell joined TEFCA program 2024 (Qualified Health Information Network QHIN designated).
