CSID
Cryptographic stamp certificate of ZATCA e-invoicing, Phase 2.
Definition
The CSID is an X.509 certificate issued by ZATCA in response to a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) generated by the EGS. There are two types: the Compliance CSID (CCSID), obtained via an OTP to pass conformance checks, then the Production CSID (PCSID), issued to compliant solutions for production. The CSID signs the XML and applies the cryptographic stamp on simplified invoices.
Origin
Defined by ZATCA in the "E-Invoicing Detailed Technical Guidelines" (Version 2, FATOORA, Nov. 2022); the CSR relies on the PKI X.509 / PKCS#10 standards.
Example in context
The EGS calls /compliance with an OTP to obtain the CCSID, submits sample invoices, then calls /production/csids to receive the PCSID.
