Rec 19 normalises the transport mode in EDIFACT TDT/IFTMIN/CST segments. Codes: 1 Maritime, 2 Rail Transport, 3 Road Transport, 4 Air Transport, 5 Mail, 6 Multimodal Transport, 7 Fixed Transport Installation, 8 Inland Water Transport, 9 Not Applicable.

Use
In an EDIFACT CST (Cargo Stowage and Tracking): TDT+20++3'. The code 3 (Road Transport) declares the transport leg is road.
