TCG functions: Review of PDA (Programme Development Area) deliverables before final publication, UN/CEFACT Library maintenance (Core Components, Codelists, Data Element Dictionary), Syntax Definitions (UN/EDIFACT, UN/XML, CCBDA, JSON), Conformity Assessment, Liaison with ISO TC 154 (Processes, data elements and documents in commerce, industry and administration), GS1, OASIS UBL TC. Membership: ~30 experts nominated by national delegations (USA, France, Germany, China, Japan, etc.).

Origin

UN/CEFACT TCG created 2002 within UN/CEFACT post-2001 restructuring ; biannual Forum meeting since 2003.
