統一發票號碼 (Uniform-Invoice Number)

The per-unit identifier of Taiwan's uniform invoice.

Definition

Each GUI is assigned a two-letter prefix (sequential: AA, AB, AC…) followed by eight digits. Beyond tax identification, this number is the ticket for the Uniform-Invoice Award: drawn every two months, with prizes from the Special Prize (NT$10 million) down to the last-three-digit prize (NT$200).
