FIN Category 3 (Treasury Markets) message, foreign-exchange deal confirmation.
Definition
MT 300 exchanges and reconciles the details of an FX deal: references (field 20), trade date and type of operation, then in the Amount Bought / Amount Sold blocks fields 32B (currency and amount), 30T (trade date), 30V (value date) and 36 (exchange rate). Each counterparty sends its own MT 300 and the two are matched.
