Definition
Stripe Test mode provides 100+ test cards (success, decline, fraud), 3DS challenge simulation, webhooks simulator (CLI stripe trigger event), test clocks for subscriptions. Always prefixed sk_test_ and pk_test_ keys. Independent from Live mode.
Origin
Stripe Test mode available since 2010, Test Clocks revamp 2022.
