SNOMED CT is the worldwide reference clinical terminology owned by SNOMED International (London-based non-profit). Covers over 350,000 concepts with hierarchies, relations, synonyms. National licence in France via ANS.
Origin
Merged in 2002 from SNOMED RT (College of American Pathologists) and Clinical Terms (NHS UK). Maintained since 2007 by SNOMED International.
