QSealC
The qualified seal certificate for legal persons under the eIDAS regulation.
Definition
A QSealC identifies an organization (not a natural person) and supports a qualified electronic seal that carries a presumption of integrity and origin. It is central to signing e-invoices and open banking (PSD2) flows.
Origin
The qualified seal is defined by the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014; the certificate profile is specified by ETSI EN 319 412-3 (certificates for legal persons).
Example in context
A PSP applies a QSealC seal to its ISO 20022 messages to prove the request's origin to the ASPSP bank (eIDAS / PSD2).
