X12 POC segment, the line-change unit of the 860/865.
Definition
POC carries the details of a line-level change. POC01 identifies the targeted line number and POC02 (element 670, Change or Response Type Code) states the action: AI add, DI delete, CT quantity change, PC price change, QD quantity decrease. Following elements give the revised quantities, unit, price and product identifiers.
Origin
Defined by ASC X12 (ANSI-accredited standards body since 1979) in the standard's segment dictionary; the pivot of the 860 and 865 transaction sets.
