PMTINF
PmtInf is the <PmtInf> block of pain.001 / pain.008 that groups transactions sharing the same execution parameters (date, currency, debtor, service type).
Definition
<PmtInf> sits between <GrpHdr> and the <CdtTrfTxInf> or <DrctDbtTxInf>. It carries PmtInfId, PmtMtd (TRF, DD), ReqdExctnDt, Dbtr, DbtrAcct, DbtrAgent, ChrgBr common to multiple transactions. Its purpose: factor common parameters to reduce XML volume.
Origin
Specified since pain.001.001.01 (2009). The <PmtInf> granularity is unchanged across versions.
Use
A company sends a pain.001 with 3 <PmtInf> (one per currency/debtor account) grouping 50 wires. Each <PmtInf> contains its own <CdtTrfTxInf>. The bank fans out or aggregates per its processing rules.
