EAS
The code list governing endpoint/party identifier schemes in Peppol.
Definition
Each EAS code (e.g. 0088 GLN, 0192 Norwegian org number, 9930 German Leitweg-ID) tells the receiver how to interpret an EndpointID. The Peppol endpoint scheme identifier must belong to the CEF/EN 16931 EAS code list; any party identification scheme is coded from the ISO 6523 ICD list.
Origin
Maintained by the European Commission (Connecting Europe Facility) as the EN 16931 'Electronic Address Scheme' code list, referenced by the OpenPeppol BIS/PINT code lists; derived in part from ISO/IEC 6523 ICD.
