Definition
pain.002 returns a group or per-transaction status via GrpSts / TxSts (codes ACSP, ACCP, RJCT, PDNG...) and, on rejection, an StsRsnInf carrying an ISO reason code (e.g. AC01 invalid account). It responds to a pain.001 or pain.008.
Origin
Defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report (ISO TC 68/SC 9); the status and reason codes come from the ISO 20022 External Code Sets.
