ORDCHG
UN/EDIFACT message in the purchasing family, the companion to ORDERS in the order lifecycle.
Definition
ORDCHG carries amendments to an existing order: quantity, date or price changes, and line additions or deletions. It reuses the same segment structure as ORDERS (BGM, DTM, NAD, LIN, QTY, PRI), and the action on each line is coded via the GIR segment or the BGM 1225 message function code.
Origin
Standard UN/EDIFACT message published in the UNTDID directory maintained by UN/CEFACT; sector profile defined in the GS1 EANCOM guide.
