CD
OFTP2 Speaker/Listener role-swap command, RFC 5024.
Definition
OFTP2 is half-duplex at the application level: at any moment one station is Speaker (sending) and the other Listener (receiving). When the Speaker has no more files or End-to-End responses to send, it issues CD to become the Listener; the former Listener becomes Speaker and may transfer in turn.
Origin
Defined in RFC 5024 §5.3 (ODETTE File Transfer Protocol 2), maintained by the Odette OFTP2 Experts Group.
Example in context
Station A (Speaker) has finished sending → CD → Station B becomes Speaker and sends its own SFID
