Nemhandel

Denmark's public e-business exchange infrastructure.

Definition

Launched in 2005, Nemhandel ("easy trade") lets any business send electronic invoices to the Danish public sector. It relies on a central registry (NemHandelsRegister, NHR) that resolves recipients by EAN/GLN or CVR identifier, and historically used the RASP/OIORASP protocol before adopting the PEPPOL infrastructure.
