NAD+IV

Party function code IV of element 3035, carried by the EDIFACT NAD segment.

Definition

In the NAD segment, the first element 3035 (Party function code qualifier) takes the value IV for "Invoicee": the party the invoice must be sent to. It is distinct from buyer BY, supplier SU and delivery point DP — common in central-buying structures where the invoicee is a separate financial entity.
