IRBM UIN
MyInvois validation result on the IRBM side (Malaysia).
Definition
When an e-Invoice (UBL 2.1 in XML or JSON) is submitted to the MyInvois portal or API, IRBM validates it in near real time and then assigns it a Unique Identifier Number (UIN) and a QR code. The QR links to the validated copy at myinvois.hasil.gov.my, letting any party verify authenticity; without the embedded UIN and QR, the document is not a valid invoice.
Origin
Mechanism defined in the IRBM e-Invoice Guidelines and MyInvois SDK (Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia / Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia).
Example in context
After validation, the supplier receives a UIN such as 123456789012-01-2026-12345678901234 plus a QR code to print/embed on the invoice issued to the buyer.
