The XML standard for US mortgage loans.

Definition

MISMO v3.4 (Reference Model) covers application (URLA), underwriting (LOAN.XML.3.4), closing (Closing Disclosure data), servicing and securitisation (Loan Delivery Data). Adopted by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and most US LOS (Loan Origination Systems).

Origin

Founded in 1999 by the Mortgage Bankers Association.
