Definition
A PAC is a private SAT-authorised company that validates, signs and stamps (timbrar) CFDIs issued by Mexican taxpayers. Receives the XML, verifies XSD structure and business rules, applies its sello digital, adds the SAT UUID, and returns the stamped XML with the TimbreFiscalDigital complement.
Origin
Scheme introduced by SAT in 2011 to offload administration. Public list of around 70 accredited PACs, e.g. Diverza, Edicom, Solución Factible.
Example in context
An issuer sends its CFDI to the PAC via REST API, receives back the stamped XML with SAT UUID and TFD seal.
