MAN (X12)
ASC X12 MAN segment, the GS1-128 logistics barcode inside the ASN.
Definition
MAN typically appears in the Tare/Pack loop (HL03=T) of the 856. MAN01 is the mark-type qualifier (GM = SSCC from the GS1-128 code) and MAN02 the value, i.e. the serial shipping container number. It links the physical logistics unit scanned at receiving to the ASN hierarchy.

Defined in the ASC X12 Transaction Set Implementation Guides (MAN segment of the 856), maintained by the Accredited Standards Committee X12; the SSCC follows the GS1 General Specifications.
