KoSIT

The standards body behind XRechnung and the Leitweg-ID.

Definition

KoSIT coordinates the German public administration's XÖV exchange standards. It publishes and evolves the XRechnung specification (twice a year), issues the associated validation rules (Schematron), and administers Leitweg-ID assignment together with the federal states and the federal government.

Origin

Operated by the city-state of Bremen on behalf of the IT-Planungsrat (the federal-state IT planning council); publisher of the XRechnung specification, a CIUS of EN 16931-1.
