Definition

ISO/TC 68 has three sub-committees: SC 2 (financial services security), SC 8 (reference data, including the ISO 17442 LEI and the ISO 9362 BIC) and SC 9 (information exchange for financial services, including ISO 20022). ANSI (US) secretariat. ~80 published standards. Cohabits with SWIFT for ISO 20022 (Registration Authority). Standards used by all banks worldwide.
