ISO 20022 Settlement Method element, interbank settlement of pacs messages.
Definition
SttlmMtd takes a value from the closed SettlementMethod1Code list: INDA (settle on the instructed agent's account), INGA (on the instructing agent's account), COVE (settle via a separate cover payment) or CLRG (through a clearing system). It determines which accounts or ClrSys are expected in the rest of the SttlmInf block.
