ISO 20022 RA

ISO 20022 governance body responsible for maintaining the registry of financial messaging standards.

Definition

The Registration Authority registers, publishes and maintains ISO 20022 message definitions (camt, pacs, pain, sese…), the Data Dictionary and the Business Model on iso20022.org. The RA role is performed by SWIFT, appointed by ISO TC 68.

Role defined by ISO 20022-1 (UNIFI) and operated by SWIFT as the Registration Authority appointed by ISO TC 68.

When a new pacs message is approved, the RA publishes its Message Definition Report and XSD schemas on www.iso20022.org/iso-20022-message-definitions.
