ISO 20022 Business Application Header element, message-type identification.
Definition
MsgDefIdr carries the ISO 20022 message definition identifier (shortened namespace) in the form aaaa.nnn.vvv.ee, for example pacs.008.001.08. The receiver uses it to select the XSD schema for validating the payload.
Origin
Defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report of the Business Application Header (head.001), maintained by the Registration Management Group of ISO TC 68.
