Definition

Bal carries Amt, CdtDbtInd and Tp/CdOrPrtry/Cd giving the type via the BalanceType12Code list: OPBD (opening booked), CLBD (closing booked), CLAV (closing available), ITBD (interim booked), PRCD (previous closing). Several Bal blocks coexist in one statement.

Origin

Defined by the CashBalance component and the ExternalBalanceType code list in the ISO 20022 camt.052/053 Message Definition Reports (ISO TC 68/SC 9), maintained by the Registration Management Group.
