Sgntr (BAH)
ISO 20022 Business Application Header element, digital signature.
Definition
Sgntr holds a W3C XML Signature structure (ds:Signature) providing end-to-end integrity and authentication of the BAH + message pair. Placing the signature in the BAH lets it travel independently of the business message definition.
Origin
Defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report of the Business Application Header (head.001); the signature structure follows the W3C XML Signature Syntax and Processing recommendation.
Example in context
<Sgntr><ds:Signature xmlns:ds="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#">...</ds:Signature></Sgntr>
