Definition
IATF 16949:2016 replaces ISO/TS 16949. Published by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), it is mandatory for OEM suppliers (Ford, GM, Stellantis, BMW, VW, Renault, PSA). Triennial audit cycle by IATF-recognised certifiers. Covers APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
