MSH-15 / MSH-16
HL7 v2 fields of the MSH header, acknowledgment rules.
Definition
MSH-15 states whether the sender requires an accept acknowledgment and MSH-16 whether it requires an application acknowledgment, both coded via HL7 table 0155: AL (always), NE (never), ER (on error) or SU (on success). Together these fields enable the enhanced acknowledgment mode as opposed to the original mode.
