Definition
A04 opens an encounter for an outpatient (emergency, clinic, day case), with a patient class (PV1-2) such as O or E rather than I. It shares the ADT_A01 abstract structure with A01 and A05; A05 (Pre-admit) is its pre-admission variant, sent ahead of the actual arrival.
