Definition

SSCC structure: Extension Digit + GS1 Company Prefix + Serial Reference + Check Digit. AI (00) in GS1 Application Identifier. Barcode encoding GS1-128 or Data Matrix. Used in EDIFACT DESADV with qualifier code 7, in X12 856 in MAN segment. Non-reusable for ~5 years after issuance (Section 2.2.5 GS1 General Specifications).
