Format: Data Matrix ECC 200 with GS1 Application Identifiers (01) GTIN, (10) batch, (17) expiry, (21) serial. Pharmacy reading via scanner connected to EMVS (European Medicines Verification System) confirms authenticity before dispensing. Mandatory since 9 February 2019 (EU FMD).
