EXTENDED is the most complete Factur-X profile, designed for invoicing scenarios the core standard does not cover.

Definition

The EXTENDED profile of Factur-X is a superset of the EN 16931 profile: it includes the entire core model of the EN 16931 standard and adds extra fields for business needs the normative core does not provide for.

• Several delivery notes attached to a single invoice.
• Multiple payment due dates and detailed financial terms.
• Sector-specific entries and information particular to certain industries.

Good to know

Because EXTENDED goes beyond the strict scope of EN 16931, some additional fields may not be interpreted by every receiver. It is advisable to confirm that the partner can process these extensions before relying on them.
