Definition

eTIR International System replaces the paper TIR Carnet (since 1959). Connects Customs Authorities of the 77 TIR Convention parties. Carriers EDI-declare operations to IRU (TIR chambers) which push to eTIR International System. Production live June 2021 between Iran and Turkey.
