REMADV
UN/EDIFACT message from the finance and payments family.
Definition
REMADV lets a payer inform a payee of amounts paid or to be paid, reconciling each line against the relevant invoices (RFF), credit notes and deductions. It accompanies, but does not replace, the bank transfer itself.
Origin
Defined in the UNTDID (United Nations Trade Data Interchange Directory), the UN/EDIFACT message directory maintained by UN/CEFACT under the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
