PAI
EDIFACT payment instructions segment (means, guarantee, channel).
Definition
PAI carries the mandatory composite C534, whose data element 4461 "Payment means code" states the payment method (e.g. 31 = credit transfer, 42 = payment to bank account), 4431 the guarantee, 4439 the conditions and 4435 the channel. Not to be confused with PAT (terms and due dates) or FII (bank account details).
