APERAK
UN/EDIFACT acknowledgement message at the application layer.
Definition
APERAK is returned by the receiving application to confirm successful receipt and processing of a message (ORDERS, INVOIC, DESADV…) or to report business-content errors. It sits above the syntax checking handled by CONTRL.
Origin
Defined in the UNTDID (United Nations Trade Data Interchange Directory), the UN/EDIFACT message directory maintained by UN/CEFACT under the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
