MPC

ebMS 3.0 / AS4 channel identifier for queue partitioning.

Definition

An MPC is a URI that splits traffic into independent sub-channels: a sender can assign messages to several MPCs, and a PullRequest targets one MPC to pull only its queue. Absent an explicit value, the default MPC http://docs.oasis-open.org/ebxml-msg/ebms/v3.0/ns/core/200704/defaultMPC applies. The P-Mode sets the MPC via PMode[1].BusinessInfo.MPC.

Origin

Defined by the MPC parameter and @mpc attribute of OASIS ebMS 3.0 Core Specification Part 1 (Version 3.0), OASIS ebXML Messaging Services TC.

Example in context

PMode[1].BusinessInfo.MPC = http://docs.oasis-open.org/ebxml-msg/ebms/v3.0/ns/core/200704/defaultMPC

  • Pull MEP — a PullRequest targets an MPC.
  • P-Mode — sets the MPC for an exchange.
