Austria's national electronic invoice format.

Definition

ebInterface is an Austrian XML schema for B2B and B2G invoices. From version 5.0 onward it incorporates the requirements of European standard EN 16931-1; the current line is ebInterface 6.x. It is the native format accepted by the federal e-rechnung.gv.at platform for submitting invoices to Austrian public bodies.

Specified and maintained by AUSTRIAPRO within the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (WKO); XSD/XSLT schemas published open-source (austriapro/ebinterface-standards repository). Aligned with EN 16931-1.
