cXML element Money element, from the Ariba/SAP protocol.

Definition

cXML Money carries a numeric amount with a mandatory currency attribute (ISO 4217 — EUR, USD, JPY) and optionally alternateCurrency, alternateAmount for conversion.

Origin

Defined in cXML 1.x maintained by cXML.org. cXML became a de-facto e-procurement standard for the Ariba Network and SAP Business Network.
