Codice Univoco Ufficio

IPA office identifier for e-invoicing to Italian public administration.

Definition

The Codice Univoco Ufficio (also called Codice Univoco Ufficio IPA) is assigned to each office registered in the Indice delle Pubbliche Amministrazioni. Placed in the CodiceDestinatario element of a FatturaPA invoice addressed to the public sector, it lets the SdI deliver the invoice to the correct administrative office.

Origin

Maintained in the Indice dei domicili digitali delle Pubbliche Amministrazioni (IPA) run by AgID; its use in invoicing is mandated by legge 244/2007 and decreto ministeriale 55/2013 on e-invoicing toward public administration.
