BRCGS food safety Issue 9 (2022) requires HACCP, site standards, product control, process control, personnel training. Grade AA (Audit Score >95%) to C with announced/unannounced audit. Certificates queryable on BRCGS Directory in JSON via API.

Launched by British Retail Consortium in 1998 ; rebranded BRCGS in 2019.
