AS4 Receipt

Acknowledgement mechanism of the AS4 profile over ebMS 3.0.

Definition

The AS4 profile mandates a Receipt built on the Reception Awareness module of ebMS 3.0 Part 2. The Receipt carries an ebbpsig:NonRepudiationInformation echoing the received message's signature references (ds:Reference); WS-Security-signed, it acts as NRR evidence. Combined with retries it delivers reliable at-least-once messaging.
